What is Speaking On Art?
A collection of post excerpts submitted by individual authors. SOA publishes the excerpts (which link to each bloggers site where the entire post can be read) in a post on The Painter’s Tongue. A new issue of SOA is published as new posts are submitted.
Why should I submit to SOA?
Submitting articles from your blog can increase traffic, and therefore readers, to your site.
How often is this carnival published?
Speaking on Art is published on an ongoing basis as submissions are received.
Does my post have to be new?
The post doesn’t have to be one you’ve never published but it should be new to the carnival.
What if I miss the deadline?
There is no deadline for submitting.
How are submissions approved? Is this a competition?
This is not in any way a competition. Submissions are approved based on relevance to the carnival’s description. Opinion based articles are welcome. Artist’s, especially, are encouraged to submit articles about their work in general, or, about a piece specifically. Submissions from sites whose sole purpose is to link to other sites, and sites that use their blog to sell unrelated commercial items, are not accepted.
