    What a beautiful and philosophical poem. I really love it! In order to grow we must have to look past the barriers we hold ourselves hostage in. Not an easy task to do, but to overcome oneself is truly the most liberating experience.

        MT that is because it was I who came to see and saw. (wink)…and I know that you see me. I am trying to memorize this poem. It is brief and profound. I am a huge fan of poetry that I understand and that moves me without having to open a dictionary every 15 seconds. I loved Alfred Noyes’ “Highwayman” and of course Poe’s “Annabel Lee” and now this one.
